Become an authorised Training Centre and provider of RED MED courses in your region & around the world

Organisations and training centres can apply to become an authorised provider of Rescue, Expedition & Disaster Medicine [RED MED] courses. Courses may be offered with your organisation or as open public courses.

The hybrid RED MED course includes 2 modules:

Online: self-paced distance learning via our Learning Management System (60+ modules)
In-person: face-to-face programme, including skills stations and scenario-based exercises

The course culminates:

47 UK Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits
47 US Cat 1 AMA Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits
Upto 28 Wilderness Medical Society (WMS) Fellowship (FAWM) credits

SOS will provide the following to approved centres:

Access codes for the online course
Course manual
Centre guide
Sample programmes for the in-person course
Guides for scenario-based sessions
Assessment criteria

Centres wishing to pursue autorisation are requested to complete the expression of interest form below, following which, we will send the centre and instructor requirements, application form and contract.
